Failed Again

I keep trying to make feeders solely for small birds.
Every time I try something new I am outwitted by:

Though I must admit the low Winter Sunlight did bring out their colouring.

    I gave up ever trying to get the better of crows, squirrels and starlings. I just relax and enjoy their antics.

    Have you been to Wilco's they do a range that stops the larger birds. I have some and they are effective.

    Beautiful plumage! Your third photo really emphasizes the iridescence of their feathers. How could they possible resist that tempting ball of tastiness ;)
